For what it's worth, this is one of the best books I read last year. I never do this kind of thing, really, but this book does deserve the mention. I picked up a copy at the Chicago Book Expo and read it on the plane to Texas. It is a great and horrible book that I was unable to stop reading even though the plane was beginning to feel more and more like something horrible was going to happen, and that this was the place where I was going to die. I don't know, I'm terrible at book reviews, but I loved it, though I knew it was doing terrible things to me. Kind of like picking at scabs. Go read it, please.
So you're advising me to pick at scabs, basically?
