I should write more about this, and I plan to, but for now:

For what it's worth, this is one of the best books I read last year.  I never do this kind of thing, really, but this book does deserve the mention.  I picked up a copy at the Chicago Book Expo and read it on the plane to Texas.  It is a great and horrible book that I was unable to stop reading even though the plane was beginning to feel more and more like something horrible was going to happen, and that this was the place where I was going to die.  I don't know, I'm terrible at book reviews, but I loved it, though I knew it was doing terrible things to me.  Kind of like picking at scabs.  Go read it, please.

  1. So you're advising me to pick at scabs, basically?

  2. As long as you're aware of the consequences...
