Entry #6 Make some noise, Joseph Beuys

Oh me, oh my.  A state of constantly forgetting and learning anew, or coming to.

"The End" by Samuel Beckett - stories and texts for nothing.

It's eleven, I'm out of time.  I am porous and easily influenced.  I, too, am a leaky vessel.  (search "vessel")

I wrote a story last night, and here is one of my favorite lines from it:

"The birds were somewhere in the house making irrelevant noise."

Obviously, the story still needs some work.  Excerpt tomorrow?

  3. Dear Walker Smart,

Thank you for sending us "Rule of Thumbs". We really enjoyed this piece, but we didn't feel it was right for PANK.

There are some fine details here and the story is interesting, but overall, this doesn't function as a narrative for us. It highlights certain memories, but doesn't leave us with a feeling that we were told a story. We love to be told memorable stories.

Please keep us in mind for future submissions as we enjoyed your work. We respectfully ask that you wait at least seven days before submitting more work for our consideration.

    Sincerely,

    The Editors of PANK
