Also, just got done reading Norman Lock's Grim Tales (Mud Luscious Press).  If you've ever taken a nap while some constant noise from outside (a bird, construction, car horns, a ghost's threadlike finger-tapping, etc.) rattles away, and had those dreams that come in little bits and pieces, from which you're persistently waking and reentering, that's what reading this book was like.  Just beautiful nightmares, over and over again, and all the while I felt oddly comforted, like when you're caught in a bear trap and you realize there actually is no hope at all for escape.
